The Pacific Like Minds Like Mine Project is aimed at removing discriminatory and de-stigmatisation of negative and destructive behaviours and attitudes towards people who experience mental illness, targeting the Pacific community and organisations within the Wellington and Christchurch regions. Vaka Tautua aims to vanquish certain Pacific belief systems that associate mental illness with curse and sin that in turn causes isolation and segregation.
