Vaka Tautua is proud to present ‘Pacific Together’ – a community event to celebrate the lives of Pacific people living with a disability. ‘Pacific Together’ coincides with International Day of Disabled Persons. The United Nations theme for this year is; “Together for a better world for all; including persons with disabilities in development.”
In hosting this event, we share the common belief that promoting an understanding of disability issues helps to minimise the stigmitisation and discrimination that comes with having a disability.
