The Office Administrator is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Finance and Administration Manager to ensure the smooth and effective running of the business operations of Vaka Tautua.
The role will involve:
being the "face" of the organisation, providing front-line reception services;
administrative duties e.g. managing and maintaining office correspondence, supplies, facilities and assets; and making travel and catering arrangements;
supporting the Finance and Administration Manager with accounts payable and receivable; and
helping plan and implement special projects and events
The successful applicant will have:
knowledge and understanding of Pacific peoples and cultures;
experience as an administrator;
a positive, "can do" attitude, and the ability to multi-task;
strong computing skills; and
satisfied all necessary requirements for working with vulnerable children and adults including police vetting requirements.
