Elder abuse responsive service
Our elder abuse responsive service (EARS) aims to support our Pacific older peoples who are experiencing abuse and neglect, or at risk of abuse and neglect. The service involves:
Confidential counselling and advice for those seeking help; and
Follow-up support to ensure our older peoples are safe.
Our team are committed to ensuring our older peoples are safe and cared for. They speak four Pacific languages (Samoan, Tongan, Cook Islands and Tuvaluan), and are supported by our wider team (Niuean, Tokelauan).
