The Tōfā Mamao: Valuing lived experience project aims to support our Pacific peoples with disabilities, their families and caregivers to be more socially connected, engaged and to have a “voice.” It involves:
A website with information on disability, disability providers and services; with interactive discussion forums. www.tofamamao.com, and
social networking hubs for peoples with disabilities, their families and caregivers to come together to socialise, connect, share and advocate on key issues that are important to them (Auckland LIVE; Wellington and Christchurch from 2021).

Tōfā Mamao: Valuing Lived Experience is a Ministry of Health: Pacific Community Fund (Innovation) project. It is a collaboration between Vaka Tautua, PIASS Trust and Tōfā Mamao: Auckland Pacific Disability Community.
