Ana Tuia-Pereira

Ana Tuia-Pereira is the Cultural Lead for Vaka Tautua’s Ola Fiafia Mental Health team in the Wellington region.

Ana joined Vaka Tautua in October 2022, coming from a navigator role for the Tupu Aotearoa programme with Inwork New Zealand. She also has a background in housing and mental health support.

With a true passion for helping people with their life journey and dedicated to her community, Ana feels called to support Māori and Pacific people to reach their potential.

She is fluent in Tokelauan and runs several community initiatives, as well as being a keen sportswoman and co-founder of Battle for the Pacific and the Punch-Fit Boxing Gym in Lower Hutt.
