Angela Asekona

Samoan

Angela Asekona is a Community Support Worker in the Ola Fiafia Mental Health team based at our Mt Albert office in Auckland. Angela is of Samoan heritage, born and raised in New Zealand.

Before joining Vaka Tautua in May 2022, Angela had 10 years of experience working for the Ministry of Social Development. Prior to joining Vaka Tautua she was a Group Services Coordinator for the Physics and Engineering Science Department at the University of Auckland. 

Outside of work, Angela enjoys exercising, spending time with family and diving into a good book. You can also find her on the netball courts coaching.
