Arieta Tabua

Arieta Tabua is the Team Leader for our Ola Fiafia, Mental Health Services in the Wellington region.

Arieta joined Vaka Tautua in June 2023. Prior to joining Vaka Tautua she worked as clinical social worker with youth who have acute mental health needs. Arieta has over 15 years experience as a Social Worker, including experience as a team leader.

Arieta sees her deep faith, Fijian culture, and self-care as the foundations for keeping one’s sanity in complex mental health environments. She maintains her self-care by doing things that give her joy including spending time with her grandchildren.
