Betty Aisaka is a Community Social Worker in Vaka Tautua’s Aiga Fiafia Social Services team in Auckland. Betty born and raised in South Auckland and hails from Safotu, Sava'i’i and Fagaloa-Uafato, Upolu.

Betty joined Vaka Tautua in March 2022, coming from a role as Residential Support Worker (Level 4 plus) with Emerge Aotearoa. She has extensive prior experience as a support worker, caregiver, youth worker, Kohanga Reo teacher, and peer mentor. Betty also holds a Bachelor of Applied Social Work from Manukau Institute of Technology. 

Music is Betty’s passion, and she expresses that by singing and playing guitar. She also pursues other hobbies, activities and sports outside of work. Betty’s goal is to work with Pacific people in the community to help them improve their lives. She is fluent in Samoan and Māori and speaks some Tongan and Niuean, using her cultural expertise to help achieve her goals for the community.
