Christophur Faiva

Christophur is a Community Support Worker in our Ola Fiafia Mental Health team based in Mt Albert, Auckland.

A proud New Zealander of Tongan and Niuean heritage, Chris came on board the Vaka in November 2022, bringing his extensive knowledge and experience in administration.

Chris was motivated to move into a health and wellbeing role to empower Pacific people and communities. He plans to use his life experience, interpersonal and language skills to assist those in our community who need support.

Outside of work, Chris prioritises family time and enjoys finding new ways to actively relax together. He is an active member of his church community, a volunteer rugby coach, and is on the PTA for his sons’ school.
