Kalesita Vakauta

Tongan • Certificate in Mental Health and Wellbeing (Level 4)

Kalesita joined Vaka Tautua in November 2023. She is a Community Support Worker with Vaka Tautua’s Ola Fiafia service. She has a Level 4 certificate in Health and Wellbeing through Unitec.

Kalesita is of Tongan descent and previous experience had her working with youth. She has volunteered at the Roskill South Oasis Hub coordinating programmes and activities such as camps and holiday programmes. Kalesita is keen to use her qualification to help Pacific people address their mental health.
