Lolomanaia Filiai is Senior Disability Coordinator for our Tagata Sa’ilimalo Disability Services in the Auckland region. Lolo is of Tongan heritage.

Lolo joined Vaka Tautua in December 2012 as a Disability Coordinator, prior to this Lolo was employed with our parent company PIASS Trust from 2002. He brings his lived experience, personal knowledge of the health and disability sector and extensive networks to the role, as well as his business and science knowledge. Lolo holds a Bachelor of Business (Management) degree from Auckland University of Technology, a Certificate in Disability Information and Advice (Level 4) and a Diploma in Forestry Science. Prior roles include Forestry Technical Officer with the Tongan Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

Lolo is passionate about his work and believes making a difference in Pacific peoples’ lives is a blessing. Musically-gifted, in his spare time Lolo teaches his three children music vocals and how to play the euphonium and trombone.
