Maselino Poulima is a Community Support Worker in our Ola Fiafia team in Wellington and is also a Financial Capability Coach for our Tupe Wise programme.

Maselino joined Vaka Tautua in October 2022, coming from a role as Acting Team Leader for Community Support Workers with New Zealand Care Group. He has extensive experience providing support to Pacific communities in Aotearoa and also worked for several years in the banking sector in Samoa.

With a commitment to finding the best support for Pacific families, Maselino uses his understanding of cultural contexts, values and approaches to inform his work. His passion is to elevate and improve opportunities for Pacific people to thrive in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Maselino was born in Samoa and has two beautiful children with his wife Savali. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time in his garden and playing a variety of sports.
