Nia Panapa

Nia Panapa is a Community Support Worker in our Access and Choice Mental Health team for the Wellington region.

Prior to joining Vaka Tautua in June 2023, Nia was employed as a labourer where she worked her way in to an Office Manager position.

Nia is fluent in Samoan and Tokelauan and migrated from Samoa to New Zealand as a child. As a caregiver to her grandmother Nia has experience in supporting aiga.
