Paula is a Disability Information Advisory Services Coordinator in the Tagata Sa’ilimalo Disability Services team based in our Otago office. Paula is of Fijian descent, he is from the Lau province, the Island of Cicia, the village of Mabula.

Paula joined Vaka Tautua in April 2022, coming from a background in community care and support work. His most recent role was with Community Care Trust as a careworker and reliever. Paula’s experience as a caregiver assisting with personal care, mobility and activities will be a great attribute to his role here at Vaka Tautua. 

He joined Vaka Tautua because it has always been his passion to serve in our wider Pasifika community, to build a great support system that will enhance the quality of life for our people in Aotearoa.

In his spare time, Paula enjoys listening to good music, farming, spending time with family and playing rugby.
