Rachel Tamapolu

Rachel Tamapolu is a Community Support Worker in our Ola Fiafia Mental Health team based in Mt Albert, Auckland.

Rachel joined Vaka Tautua in September 2022, bringing more than ten years’ experience in youth and support work. Prior to Vaka Tautua, Rachel was a Family Harm Support Worker and Residential Youth Worker, working with the Pacific community.

Passionate about supporting people who are needing a helping hand, Rachel considers it an honour to journey and support our Pacific people, families and community. She especially loves serving through Gospel music ministry.

Outside of work, Rachel is passionate about sharing her faith by living it out through family and others in need. She enjoys going on walks, spending time with family and playing volleyball.
