Siahi Alene-Sekene is a Social Worker in our Aiga Fiafia team in Auckland.

Siahi joined the Vaka Tautua team in January 2023 as a Disability Coordinator before moving in to a social work role, having previously worked for many years in the fields of victim support and Pacific women’s health. She is a qualified Social Worker with a Bachelor of Applied Social Work from Manukau Institute of Technology.

Siahi enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds, and uses her values in her work to respect, care for and support those who need help.

In her spare time, Siahi does volunteer work advocating for Pacific communities and likes to spend time with her family and express her creativity with gardening, crochet, art and floral arrangements.
