Tevita Tuita is a Community Connector in our Aiga Fiafia Services in Auckland

Tevita joined Vaka Tautua in October 2020, and has 20 years’ experience in the mental health and disability sectors, after a brief break in 2022 and relocation to Auckland Tevita has rejoined the team in September 2023. He holds a Certificate in Mental Health, Alcohol & Other Drugs (Level 4).

Tevita is  thrilled he can provide a Pacific approach in his work, with a strong focus on improving the health and social wellbeing of our Tagata Pasifika. A Tongan community leader, Tevita’s spare time is spent helping and supporting community projects and events. He also enjoys going to the gym hiking, visiting new places and attending church as an active member of The Wellington Cathedral of St Paul.
