Wang Yaw

Malaysian • Master of Business Administration

Wang Yaw was appointed to Vaka Tautua in November 2021, having previously held the role of Director and Manager of the Pacific Training Institute for more than two decades. During this period, she was involved in research on disadvantaged learners in the Pacific community. Wang holds a Master of Business Administration from Victoria University of Wellington, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Psychology from Massey University.

Wang brings her extensive experience in supporting the Pacific community to her role in Vaka Tautua, to help our Pacific peoples gain better outcomes. Outside of work, Wang enjoys volunteering for Kotuku Music Academy Support Trust. She speaks Cantonese and Bahasa Malaysia.
