Whānau Ora

Auckland

Whānau Ora is a proven approach to improving the wellbeing of whānau by empowering them to identify and achieve their own goals through a holistic, strengths-based whānau plan.

Rather than addressing needs through fragmented services, Whānau Ora places families at the centre, recognising their strength and the importance of cultural practices, values, and belief systems.

What we offer:

  • Build whānau leadership, confidence, and capability for intergenerational change, and self-determination.

  • Support whānau to develop and action whānau plans, including goal setting, risk management, crisis response and progression tracking.

  • Apply Pacific cultural frameworks to strengthen whānau relationships, identity, and to establish support networks.

  • Advocate for whānau by identifying and addressing systemic barriers to access, equity, and wellbeing.
